SHASHI STEEL PIPE WORKS

Registered in Shashi District, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province which sits itself at the middle stream of Yangtze River and under the administration of China Petrochemical Group Corporation (Sinopec.), Shahsi Steel Pipe Works (hereinafter referred to as SSPW) is one of the enterprise specialized in manufacturing of submerged arc welded pipe with the largest scale and the most advanced equipment in China. Established in the year of 1975, SSPW possesses three (3) advanced SAW pipe production lines, where two lines (one line at Jingzhou City and one line at Wuhan City) are for spiral welded pipe, and the third one (at Jingzhou City) is for longitudinal pipe. The annual output for both the spiral lines and the longitudinal line are 200,000 t. Two coating production lines capable of performing pipe external FBE , PE and PP coating and internal painting coating to reduce surface friction are set up in the pipe mill at Shahi District in the form of Sino-foreign joint cooperation. SSPW has accumulated to produce more than 1,300,000t steel pipe.
